Start by booking an online appointment to talk to one of our experts regarding your options of treatment, clinics, and countries where Redia IVF is operating. We will be with you every step of the way, and answer any questions you might have, from “How does IVF work?” to “What is the exact IVF process timeline?”
If interested in proceeding to our eligibility screening process, we will invite you to join our patient platform so that you can upload any required medical tests.
Once eligible, your will be asked to choose a clinic from our partner list, in case you have not done this already, and a contract will be created for you on the patient platform to sign.
Redia IVF offers several IVF refund programmes to choose from. We can discuss your options together in order to reach the best decision for you personally.
Following the signature of the contract, Redia IVF will issue an invoice for the 50% of the amount you have to pay.
The clinic will be informed and you will be able to start treatment immediately.
If you are on an IVF with your own eggs programme, you will be given a protocol. This protocol explains the IVF process timeline in great detail and is designed explicitly for you and your needs. It will also answer another important question: “How long does IVF take?”
The answer to this question depends on several factors, including the day of your menstrual cycle, how you respond to the medications or your personal schedule. As a general rule of thumb, you can expect one IVF cycle to take between six and nine weeks.
Once ready, the clinic will send us a prescription and we will order your medication from one of our collaborating pharmacies. If that prescription reaches you first, please forward it to us.
This process is known as Controlled Ovarian Hyperstimulation (COH), and the medication is used to stimulate the follicles in your ovaries to mature more eggs than they typically would.
You will receive your medication and start your stimulation injection according to the clinic protocol. If the clinic is at a different city/country, you need to travel to it at least two days before egg collection.
Please note that terms and conditions may apply depending on country. For the majority of collaborating clinics, medication is included in the plan. There are, however, countries (such as Norway, USA, Canada) where foreign medication cannot be shipped, or countries where medicines are provided by the state (e.g. Ireland). In these cases, IVF medication is not included in your contract.
If you are on an egg donor IVF programme, the clinic will find a suitable donor for you and start stimulation on the donor. At the same time, your partner, if using partner sperm, needs to travel to the clinic to provide sperm sample.
Following the egg collection and fertilization with your partner (or donor) sperm, embryos are developed in the lab through IVF or IVF with ICSI and reach the optimal level of development (blastocyst stage) when they will be either frozen or transferred.
If you are on an egg donor IVF programme, you need to travel to the clinic (if the clinic is not local to you) at least one day before embryo transfer.
After the embryo transfer, all remaining embryos, if any, will be cryopreserved for future use and in 15 days, you will have your beta-HCG blood test to see whether you are pregnant. If pregnant, an ultrasound will need to be done around week 7 to confirm heartbeat.
If not pregnant, the clinic will contact you for the next steps. If you have frozen embryos, a subsequent embryo transfer will be organized. If no embryos remain, a new stimulation cycle will be done.
We will invoice you to pay for the remaining 50% balance before your first embryo transfer.
